  • We mix our own cocoa, Raaka chocolate, maple syrup and other organic, whole-food ingredients into a dough, then bake our chocolate fudge brownies in-house. Creating custom, in-house inclusions from scratch isn’t the easiest way to do it, but it’s worth it. It means we can control the supply chain and decrease any chance of cross-contamination.

  • The maple syrup we use is special for so many reasons. We source our organic maple syrup from Vermont as a natural sweetener. More than that, our providers are a part of the Bird-Friendly Maple Project, a collaboration between the Audubon Society and Vermont Maple Sugar Makers that aims to make Vermont’s working forests prime habitats for songbirds.

  • This one’s pretty special. Whereas most companies rely on highly processed ingredients (check your labels for gums and sweeteners like erythritol and inulin), we start with organic, whole ingredients. By using rich maple syrup, organic vanilla, and actual hemp seeds, Lucky Day ice cream is naturally delicious and retains all the nutritional value and natural qualities of our ingredients. This goes for inclusions too, like our cookie bites, which we make from scratch (yep).

  • This means our ingredients are naturally dairy-free, tree nut-free, coconut-free, peanut-free, egg-free, soy-free, sesame-free, gum-free, and gluten/wheat-free. All Lucky Day ice cream is also vegan. Phew! Questions about allergens? Visit our FAQs

  • We chose hemp because it does things no other ingredient can: it's good to the planet, good for our health, and makes great ice cream. If you’re extra curious, it’s also a great plant-based protein source that’s high in fiber and Omega-3 fats. Try it, and you’ll see it’s uniquely delicious.

  • Organic means we opt for non-GMO ingredients cultivated without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, supporting soil health with every spoonful. Better yet, our maple syrup is bird habitat friendly and we use naturally regenerative North American-grown seeds. We make everything in the USA, including our cookie and brownie bites. Oh—did we say our containers are plastic-free?
